Biography and filmography:

Started traveling in the Cechetti Ballet at the age of 6, but then decided she wanted to become an actress.

Her first TV performance was in the mini-series, True Women (1997) .

Her first starring role was in The Soul Collector, (1999/I) , for which she won a Best Performance in a TV Movie or Pilot (Supporting Young Actress) Young Artist Award .

Her second successful role was Lizzie McGuire in the #1 Disney Channel Hit Series, Lizzie McGuire (2001) .

In 2003, after 5 years, returned to the big screen with The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

Her filmography also includes Casper Meets Wendy (1998), Human Nature (2001) , Cadet Kelly (2002), Agent Cody Banks (2003) , Cheaper by the Dozen (2003) , A Cinderella Story (2004), Raise Your Voice (2004) , The Perfect Man (2004), and Outward Blonde (2005) .

On August 26, 2003, she released her first album "Metamorphosis" with 13 pop-rock songs, featuring hits "So Yesterday" and "Come Clean".

New album “Hilary Duff”, featuring the hit single "Fly", came out in September of 2004.

So far had sold over 2.2 million albums, spent six weeks in the Billboard Top 10 and earned two platinum album awards.

Is starting a design for dogs called LDD (little dog duff).

Has recently teamed up with fellow style setter, Barbie doll, to introduce a new range of Barbie dolls called Fashion Fever girls apparel, accessories and Barbie fragrance.

Has been working for the charity Kids With a Cause since it was founded in September 1999, and is the 2004 Official International Spokesperson for the non-profit organization.
