Silver screen star Angelina Jolie is thinking about spending winter holidays in the motherland of her adopted son Maddox after Cambodian government offered her citizenship in recognition of her active humanitarian work in the struggling country, reports Contactmusic.com.
I want to take Maddox somewhere in the middle of some interesting place in the world. Ill probably visit Cambodia only because Im going to accept citizenship there, said the actress.
I met with the Prime Minister about stopping a dam from being built and we spoke about the different things Id been doing in the country for the last few years.
He said theyd given citizenship to two people on a humanitarian basis and offered me citizenship. I was extremely honoured and I love the people. Its my sons country so its a great honour.
Ill be just spending the day with the people there and have a celebration.
