Lancome model Elizabeth Jagger has signed up to be the new face of the Spanish high-street store Mango.
20-year old daughter of Sir Mick Jagger and former model Jerry Hall will appear in a spring campaign for the brand. The fashion chain says it chose her because she embodies the ideal of the urban, independent and cosmopolitan woman that we want to dress, adding that it is her exquisite beauty and stunning personality that make her perfect ambassador for the brand.
By signing up Jagger Mango hopes to target customers that are serene and elegant, yet at the same time amusing and youthful. The retailer seems to have found its ideal spokesmodel as Jagger confesses she prefers hight-street to designer clothes.
I was really happy to be asked to do this campaign, Lizzy said, as she launched the campaign for the brand at the Oxford Street store in London.
Mango clothes are really fun, theyre always great colours, they are very classic and very beautiful.
I definitely prefer high street to designer clothes because theyre cheaper and you get more choice.
