Hotel heiress, socialite and clothing designer Nicky Hilton, who has tied the knot with money manager Todd Meister in a surprise ceremony in Vegas on August 15, is apparently regretting her decision and is calling her marriage quits.
The US Weekly has reported Wednesday, that the 21-year-old is seeking annulment of her nuptial agreement with the 33-year-old Meister. As reports the magazine, the split is amicable.
The source close to Nicky Hilton, says the couple’s age difference and the fact that Nicky spends more time in LA than in New York, with her husband, were reasons for their decision.
“Nicky and Todd remain the best of friends, but she is 21, and it’s just not the right time in her life for her to be married. He lives in New York; she’s in L.A. She loves Todd. It's just that now is not the right time for her.“
Hilton has recently showed up at the John Kerry event in Hollywood on October 2, without her wedding ring. When asked if she is still married, she raised her ringless finger and retorted ’Am I?’ US Weekly reports that Nicky has reportedly returned her $1 million worth wedding ring which is her family heirloom.
