Two finalists from Russia and Belarus were selected in Moscow on November 27 to participate in the final of SUPERMODEL of THE WORLD that will take place on January 12, 2005 in New York. Twenty contestants vied for the chance to participate in the global modeling contest but only two were meant to reach the top - one from each country, Russia and Belarus. Maria Garmash was named Supermodel of Russia 2004 and Maria Didarova won the Supermodel of Belarus 2004 title.
The panel of judges included Susan Quillin - European scouting director, representative of “FORD Models” NY, Beatrice Manigoff - owner of the largest modeling agency “Beatrice Models” in Milan, Francheska Magbeth - French representative of the famous Japanese agency Image, Debbie Jones and Sarah Fletcher - bookers of the leading London modeling agency “Models1”.
