In her early teens she already had two Italian Vogue covers, breakout FW/04 show season and supercharged charts behind. The NY Times has called her “Canadian cutie” and claimed that this young model has set a new trend in fashion and modeling.

Lisa was discovered by pure accident in her hometown Calgary and during the next year was recruited by Trump’s Model Management. Then, adding fuel to the spreading fire, Cosmo Girl published an 8-page editorial about Canadian “gamine”, including interview and excellent pictures taken by one of the world’s most recognized photographers - Meisel.

Because of her large forehead and big eyes, LIsa (alongside with Gemma Ward and Heather Marks) has been dubbed "The Bug" by fellow models. The fashion world considered the recent trend towards such non-typical faces as a “fresh breeze”.
