Supermodel Kate Moss, which is known as a great fan of Elvis Presley, ordered a portrait depicting her beside the King. She had planned to buy some memorabilia for her London’s home to enlarge her collection of rarities, but having been introduced to the well-known rock star painter Paul Karslake, Kate changed her mind and decided to immortalize herself with the rock-n-roll Superstar. To the great surprise of the fine arts world, Karslake agreed to help Kate in her infatuation.
The painting will portray Moss in a classic 1950s dress with Elvis holding her in his arms. Kate will be looking out of the picture and the King will be looking at her.
Karslake has recently finished hand-painting an electric guitar featuring scenes from “Back to the Future” film (1985) for James Bourne (Busted member).
Being the brother-in-law of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, he has also depicted Keith Richards (Rolling Stones) in the role of a pirate.
