One of the most recognized modeling agencies in history Elite Model Management that had filed for bankruptcy in February has been sold for 4.4 million British pounds. The new owner is a little-known Florida company Creative World, property of investment company Trump Group, owned by Eddie and Jules Trump.
The Trumps, who aren’t related to billionaire Donald Trump in any way, outbid ID Models boss Paolo Zampolli and financier Jeffrey Epstein in a struggle to bag the company, reports The New York Post.
Founded by John Casablancas in 1972, Elite Model Management is famous for having created the supermodel league of the eighties and the nineties. The agency, that had the likes of Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schieffer and Gisele Bundchen in their books went bankrupt after two lawsuits brought against it by a group of former models and employees.
