The newly-slimmed fashion diva Anna Nicole Smith has announced the launch of her clothing line “Anna Nicole.” The new apparel line, which
she is designing with Von Dutch's design team, the NTL Group, is themed with Anna Nicole's own personal style that she affectionately calls "Tex-Sex" and is said to feature jeans, t-shirts, tops, and skirts.
"Tex-Sex" pays homage to her Mejia, Texas roots, while also capturing her
essence as Hollywood's most recognizable blonde bombshell.
Former Playboy Playmate says, she has finally realized her lifelong ambition of becoming a designer and plans to give her fans stylish clothes at affordable prizes. "I never had clothes, and I was always jealous of the other kids, and I've always wanted to make them and now I can!" she told the British Vogue.
The line will launch at MAGIC Marketplace 2004 (August 30th - September 2nd) in Las Vegas, where the company will hold a press conference featuring Anna Nicole Smith, on August 30th, at 12:30 PM, in the North Hall Conference Room #N254, at The Las Vegas Convention Center. The Anna Nicole line will be displayed and sold at booth #11618 in the North Hall at the WWDMAGIC Marketplace. Anna Nicole Smith will be present at the booth location from 1:00PM to 3:00PM, Monday through Wednesday to meet and greet prospective buyers.
Anna Nicole, alongside Star Magazine and TRIMSPA(R), will also be having the clothing line launch party on Wednesday, September 1st at Body English at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, produced in part by The Viardo Agency. The event will begin at 9:00PM and will feature the unveiling of the commemorative Anna Nicole Smith showcase that will be on display at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
