Despite everyone's hopes, it seems there won't be a happy ending for Hollywood's hottest couple Pitt and Aniston. Three months after the pair officially announced their separation, Jennifer Aniston filed for divorce from Brad Pitt on Friday.
In the Los Angeles Superior Court, the Friends star cited "irreconcilable differences" with her estranged husband and requested that Pitt not be awarded spousal support, giving no indication how their assets, including several common houses and a production company, will be divided. Moreover, according to AP, 36-year-old Aniston asked the court to restore her maiden name. She took Pitt's name legally when they married in July 2000 but continued using her own professionally.
Aniston met the 41-year-old Troy hunk on a set-up dinner date in 1998. Two years later the couple exchanged weddings vows and rings in a lavish Malibu ceremony to the passionate flamenco tunes of French band The Gipsy Kings, surrounded by 200 guests.
