BC Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2005 will be taking place April 10th through 15th in Vancouver, Canada.

BC Fashion Week will present the collections of young and talented designers and brands from around the world. Among them are Afshin Feiz, Milk Berlin, the easten-oriented Anaura, Azadeh Gorbanli, Cincyn, Dace, Eve Gravel, Flyt, the winner of Smirnoff Canadian Fashion Design Competition in Toronto Jason Matlo, Karen l Haute Couture, Mala Kuja, Ocean Drive Leather, On and On Collections, Pierre Jale, Tavio, Temple, Thomas Lynch, Tyger of Sweden, Wanny Tang.

The event will present two types of collections - Ready to Wear and Diffusion. The purpose of the showcase is to create the possibilities for business comunication between designers, buyers and media.

The showcase will take place in the eight-storey facility, built by Architectura and architect Arthur Erickson. The BCFW Media Lounge provides a chill out during breaks between catwalks.

BC Fashion Week helps designers to show off their brand globally and create a serious fashion profile. The event takes place twice each year and gather retailers, buying houses, distributors, wholesalers, agents, potential franchisers, media and young and perspective designers together.
