Ubiquitous pop princess Britney Spears seems to lead all Top lists, from “Most annoying” to “Most popular”. This time the star has secured her the No.1 spot on Access Hollywood’s “Top 10 Stars of 2004” list, which is based on the number of stories the syndicated entertainment television show aired on each star.

23-year-old Spears, who married her childhood friend Jason Alexander in January, canceled a summer tour due to a knee injury, had a much-talked-of wedding with Kevin Federline in September, topped the list with 119 stories.

The remaining top celebrities were as follows: Beyonce Knowles, Donald Trump, Michael Jackson, Tom Cruise, Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, and Whitney Houston.

“We want to thank these stars for helping to make 2004 the best in ’Access Hollywood’ history,” executive producer Rob Silverstein said in a statement Tuesday. “Here’s to more ’can’t miss’ moments in 2005.”
