Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz arrived at Rome last Monday, accompanied by her boyfriend and onscreen partner Matthew McConaughey, to promote their latest movie Sahara which has taken No.1 spot in the box office on both sides of the Atlantic.

With her hair pulled back into a ponytail, the 30-year-old actress wowed the city of style and fashion with an elegant black double crepe wool cocktail dress with silver ball buttons from the Givenchy Fall 2005 collection.

The venerable Paris fashion house, which created Audrey Hepburn’s wardrobe for Breakfast at Tiffany's back in the 60's, is regenerating its popularity among Hollywood stars and fashionistas, with its new leading designers, Ozwald Boateng for Givenchy Homme and the newly appointed Riccardo Tisci for womenswear and haute couture.

There have been rumors that the glamorous couple, Cruz and McConaughey, who have been dating since last year, plan to wed in Penelope's home city of Madrid this summer.
