Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton is to become the next Bollywood star after making a striking debut in an Indian movie.
The 28-year-old "baby spice", whose break resulted from her appearance in a BBC documentary when she swapped places with Sameera Reddy who has been named "Jennifer Lopez of Mumbai", impressed Bollywood producers by making a cameo appearance in a new film, Pal Tham Gaya. The singing blonde is expected to make £1 million ($1.9m) is she accepts the offer of movie bosses.
"The idea is to give viewers a look at how high life differs in different parts of the world," explained Emma to Hellomagazine.com. "Everything in Bollywood is so grand and beautiful - it has lived up to everything I imagined."
