British football player David James models H&M' s tailored spring collection for men in the Swedish company's newest advertisements, featuring a sharply defined striped suit and a white crisp cotton shirt.

This is not the first time the 34-year-old Manchester City star steps onto fashion arena. In 1995 he walked the runway for Giorgio Armani and later featured in Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear advertising campaigns.

Posing for fashion companies seems to become incredibly popular among footballers.

21-year-old Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo who plays for Manchester United is the new face of Pepe Jeans. The new campaign, photographed by Steven Klein, is based on a mixture of two films by Michelangelo Antonioni, Zabriskie Point and Deserto Rosso.

Among other football models are Brazil's Kaká, the new star of Armani Jeans, Rio Ferdinand of Manchester United who signed a three-year contract with shirt brand Ben Sherman, and Arsenal star Freddie Ljungberg who appeared in sexy underwear ads for Calvin Klein.
