Herve Van der Straeten is said to collaborate with LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton cosmetic brand – Guerlain. The French designer, who started out creating jewelry for Saint Laurent and Lacroix, designed a bottle for Christian Dior J’Adore perfume, and made baroque furniture, is reportedly creating new packaging for Guerlain lipsticks, which are due in August.

He has also recently released a jewelry collection to be sold exclusively in some Parisian museums.

Founded in 1828 Guerlain has created remarkable Eau de Cologne Imperiale, l'Heure Bleue, Mitsouko, Shalimar. Up until now, the famous inimitable combination of rose, jasmine, vanilla and tonka bean, composed by Aime Guerlain, has been the hallmark of each Guerlain perfume.

"Going on site, checking, choosing the raw materials that make up our perfumes is, as far as I am concerned, the only way to perpetuate the Guerlain tradition and quality. I buy my bergamot in Reggio di Calabria, my Ylang Ylang in plantations on the island of Mayotte, my jasmine and santal in India," said Jean-Paul Guerlain.
