A laundry list of celebrities, including socialite Nicole Richie, actor Jason Priestley, “Mean Girls” Amanda Seyfried and Hollywood heartthrob Wilmer Valderrama, attended the HUGO Hugo Boss party at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Tuesday night.
The 600-plus group of guests, who settled themselves at the pool area transformed into a Mediterranean-style lounge, were treated with champagne and fresh seafood and entertained by Richie's fiance, DJ AM. Male and female models, dressed in cropped, asymmetric jackets and embellishments, skinny pants and printed dresses a la '80s from Hugo Boss 2005 fall collection, were strutting a cross-shaped catwalk.
Volker Kaechele, HUGO's chief designer, also showcased military jackets and cargo pants with splashes of bright colors like orange, yellow and green, and a medley of accessories like colored tights, hats and leather gloves. Owner of clothing retailer Bernini, Stevan Hill, confirmed to FWD that HUGO is leading the market trends with “younger ideas and hipper offerings.”
