Lauren Tempany, a 22-year old model from Scotland appears to be running for a catwalk crown. She came to London from a small town near Edinburgh with an objective to become a model and signed a contract with a small agency. It was shortly before Christmas when an IMG scout Germaine Knight spotted her on a street and that appears to have launched her fashion-business career. She has recently walked the catwalk for Giles Deacon, Gibo, Nicole Farhi and Julien McDonald and has been appointed the new fitting model for Alexander McQueen.

'I love the clothes, I love the freebies and, I don't know, it's just a cool thing to do after school, before you decide what next, I suppose,' she says.
