Click Model Management, Inc. was founded in 1980 by Frances Grill, Joey Grill and Allan Mindel. The name "Click" is in homage to the sound a camera makes and to the photographers who make magic with them. Prior to founding the agency, Ms. Grill was an agent for fashion photographers and had been representing such talents as Oliviero Toscani, Steven Meisel, Fabrizio Ferri, and Lillian Bassman. The switch to models was a natural move, and so with Joey and a friend Allan, who joined the company soon after, Click Models was born.

Over the past 20+ years Click has grown from one office in New York City to having offices in Paris, France; Sao Paolo, Brazil; Los Angeles; Atlanta; Miami; Boston and Philadelphia. Click Models presently represent over 600 models with divisions in women and men's print fashion, television commercials, plus size, runway, showroom, FIT and kids.

Many of the world's most famous faces such as Isabella Rossellini, Uma Thurman, Whitney Houston, Elle MacPherson, Phoebe Cates, Talisa Soto, Tanga and Grace Jones have been represented by Click Models. Since 1986, Flick Talents based in Los Angeles was formed in order to provide a broader range and greater service to our models in the fields of acting and television commercials. In 1995, Framework Entertainment, a bi-coastal theatrical management company was formed in order to handle the personal management needs of other talents in the television and theatrical industry. Some of the talents represented by Framework are Lucy Lui, Camryn Manheim, Marcia Gay Harden, Debi Mazar, Talisa Soto, Stephanie Seymour, Karen Duffy and Aida Turturro.

In 2001, Click through its acquisition of the venerable modeling agency, Zoli Models, has also acquired a full service Hair, Makeup and Styling division called Illusions.
