Last week, students from across London had come together at Spitalfields Market to show off their fashion collections at an Alternative Fashion Week. Some outrageous, playful and funky designs were exhibited; the students came up with outfits resembling bundles of balloons, toy soldiers and Bjork-lookalikes, not to mention muskateers and feminine chiffon creations.
A fashion market was run alongside the event, with stalls selling clothes and accessories ranging from funky to exotic. The alternative Fashion Week is rapidly becoming the place to discover new design talents.
