Stunningly gorgeous model-turned-actress Rebecca Romijn-Stamos follows the trend of beautiful Hollywood women trying to land ugly roles. In the new action film “The Punisher,” Rebecca is playing a quite, make-up less girl and a make-up less, dowdy and unattractive mom in the new thriller “Godsend.”

Her choice is mystifying to most women trying to look as attractive as they can and spending lots of time and money on clothes and make-up. Perhaps she thinks it will give her more credibility than playing Mystique, the blue-skinned and very sexy mutant from "X-Men." But she insists that her reasons are just simple ones, particularly in choosing her role in "The Punisher."

"I’ve been playing these over stylized, villainous bad asses and it was nice to just go and play the nice, soft, normal girl who lets the other people do the ass kicking," Rebecca told Fashion Wire Daily.

Romijn-Stamos, who has just split with John Stamos, her husband of 6 years, says: "It’s nice playing a reject. I’ll get typecast as a reject. That’s fine with me."

Perhaps, she feels comfortable with that at this point in her life, but we hope she`ll soon feel like looking good again both personally and professionally.
