Dorin Frankfurt came up with her summer 2004 collection for men and women. Her first runway after four years without regular shows was held recently in the Tel Aviv Marine Center. The men`s collection, intended for both sexes has light Israeli look: comfortably cut pants, light linen zippered jackets, short sleeved-T-shirts, sleeveless T-shirts with small V-necks with combination of green and brown stitches, and embroidered red shirts with matching pants in a faded red shade.

For women, similar items were shown, such as a light jacket with a refreshing apple green zipper and white pants; Wide jeans with a transparent and airy chiffon blouse, exquisite pink satin knee-length pants, assorted tunics, nice T-shirts with Indian-style floral designs, camisols and springy knits.

"Never wear anything that you cannot comfortably fall asleep in," says Frankfurt. "I design for people who live and work in the city, but when stuck in a traffic jam they dream of the sea and the desert.

Dorin Frankfurt, a leading Israeli designer, tries to fill in a relatively empty niche for women`s clothes suitable for wide range of ages, in generous sizes and for reasonable prices.
