Gucci brand sales grew at a double-digit pace over December and January, Gucci Group NV Chief Executive Domenico De Sole informed. Sales at the Italian leather goods company's core division increased more than 10% in all core markets when measured in constant currency, De Sole told Dow Jones Newswires. "We're very happy, sales have been very strong," De Sole said. He highlighted that Gucci brand sales had also achieved double-digit growth in Europe, where robust top-line recoveries by luxury companies have so far proved elusive.
