Multiplatinum recording artist/actress Eve, has partnered with urban apparel brand Marc Ecko to relaunch her signature clothing line, Fetish. The new collection of women`s sportswear, headwear, footwear and luggage will debut in fall 2005. "I'm excited about this new partnership with Eve, not the least of which because I've been a fan of her music and artistry for a long time," stated Marc Ecko. "We foresee many synergies between Marc Ecko Enterprises and Eve
as a brand and think she's got an amazing fashion approach and vision, which will be reflected in the new Fetish line. In the next few weeks we'll be putting the right team in place to make it happen."
Commenting on the partnership, Eve offered, "It's an ideal match working
with Marc and his organization on the re-launch of Fetish. I've always
appreciated Marc's design sense and he seems to have a sophisticated
understanding of me as a person and as a brand. I expect the new Fetish will
offer consumers the same high caliber as the other products I've brought to
market."
Eve, whose multi-platinum debut album Let There Be Evebecame one of the
most successful by a female MC, solidified her reputation with her second
record, Scorpion. Her third album, Eve-olution, places Eve front and center
as its main creative force, affirming her as the preeminent First Lady of hip-
hop. She is currently working on a new album to be released in 2004.
Breaking into feature film opposite Vin Diesel in the blockbuster XXX, she
segued into numerous other film and television projects including the smash
hit comedy Barbershop, the television drama "Third Watch" and her own UPN
series "Eve." More recently she co-starred with Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick
in the forthcoming feature The Woodsman, in a reprise of her role as Terri
Jones in the sequel Barbershop 2: Back in Business, and in the upcoming film
comedy The Cookout.
