US Fashion designer Kate Spade has teamed up with Song, Delta Airlines low fare air-service to create couture outfits for its flight attendants and customer service agents. Beginning form May 5, female employees will be wearing uniforms from the ultra-trendy Kate Spade collection, while male employees will sport designs from her husband Andy Spade's "Jack Spade" line. Song staff will also be outfitted with handbags, totes, aprons and sunglasses, making Song the first low-fare airline with high-fashion features.
Kate Spade founded her handbag company with her creative partner and husband, Andy Spade in 1993. The world of kate spade now includes shoes, sunglasses, luggage and travel items, paper and stationery products, beauty and a home collection.
Song provides 144 daily non-stop flights between major cities in the Northeast United States and key Florida leisure destinations.
