Despite the fact that the number of brands and styles of blue jeans had reached overwhelming diversity, a new denim designer Notify is managing to introduce something new. Several major department stores in New York have placed new orders after only a few weeks.
The new popular jeans, designed in Paris and made in Italy, are cut like men`s trousers, giving them a fitted, dressier look.
Starting at $195, the jeans have also notched up the price threshold for noncouture denim designers, something that does not seem to have been a deterrent. Buyers for Henri Bendel and Bloomingdale's say they have had to reorder as well, just to keep the pants in stock.
