Fashion at Belsay, the four-month event, at Belsay Hall and Gardens in Northumberland, UK, opens on May 29 and runs until September 30 at Belsay Hall and Gardens in Northumberland, UK. The long-awaited event will feature work of fashion names such as Alexander McQueen, Zandra Rhodes, Georgina Goodman, Shelley Fox, Stella McCartney, Paul Smith and Jean Muir Ltd. The show is a wonderful opportunity for Belsay fashion design, fashion marketing and textile courses students to showcase their designs alongside those of the renowned design moguls.

Inspired by the epitome of classic style - the little black dress by Jean Muir, the students collaborated to produce garments and accessories. Design school director Vivien Todd said that students received an amazing amount of support from local organizations. "It was a great opportunity. It's been hard work but enjoyable," fashion design student Alice Druitt told icNewcastle.
