British supermodel Naomi Campbell is making a Hollywood debut and will play a dancer in the “Go-Go Tales,” an Abel Ferrara comedy set in the New York strip-club. Drea De Matteo from “The Sopranos” and Asia Argento from “XXX” will co-star with the 32-year-old catwalk queen in the movie. It has been reported by London Evening Standard, that if the release is a commercial success, it will be followed by a TV sitcom, with Naomi playing the lead.

The supermodel’s previous attempts to launch a movie career weren’t a success: the American showing of the Ali G: Indahouse was a flop. She had also tried to snatch a role in “Kill Bill” by Quentin Tarantino, but was turned down by the producers.

However, Ferrara is sure that Campbell’s beauty will guarantee the movie’s commercial success.
