Kate Ford joined Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Simon Cowell, Pamela Anderson, Charlize Theron and Pink in their fight against cruel treatment of animals having posed for PETA’s anti-fur campaign new ad.

The actress is known for playing role of super bitch in "Coronation Street", proving she differs greatly from the character she portrays: she agreed to pose for the campaign the moment she heard about the way animals are killed. «I play a pretty cold-hearted character in Coronation Street, but I can’t think of anything more cruel or cold-hearted than killing animals for their fur,» said Kate.

For the ad she donned a stunning red dress and held a white rabbit. The tag-line on a poster says: "Try Telling Him It's Just a Bit of Fur Trim."
