British supermodel Kate Moss has reportedly hooked up with the country’s most famous drug addict Pete Doherty. Just weeks after she was reported to have reunited with the father of her daughter, magazine publisher Jefferson Hack, she has been spotted with the former frontman of rock band Libertines.

As reports online.ie, the couple linked up at Kate’s 31st birthday party held at her English country home last weekend.

“Kate is attracted to Pete because he’s dangerous, exciting, creative and very talented,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.

“His present was a copy of the lyric to one of his songs, ’What Katie did’, written on an envelope and framed. She was thrilled with it, she thought it was really romantic.”

25-year-old Doherty, who has admitted his addiction to heroin and crack cocaine, was dumped from The Libertines after failing to overcome his destructive habit and has been performing with new band Babyshambles since May of last year.

Meanwhile, Jefferson Hack decided to turn his ex-girlfriend into a member of the British aristocracy and purchased her an exclusive plot of land in Scotland for a birthday present. The “gift” is located on a hillside overlooking the Scottish Loch Borralan near Knock Castle. As reports Contactmusic, a land owner in Scotland becomes a “Laird” - the Scottish equivalent to “Lady”.

“It’s hilarious because officially Kate will become a ’lady’ once she signs the land documents and sends them back,” said a close source.
