Elizabeth Hurley, who has recently launched her beachwear collection, is now planning to design clothes for future mothers. She claims that she got inspired by Indian women, and was completely charmed by the bright silk robes that they are wearing, so now she is willing to bring her idea to life.
The idea about designing clothes for the expectant mothers occured to Hurley after the trip to her fiancée Arun Nayar, who is living in India - comparing fashion of two cultures, the ex-model decided that pregnancy clothes in the West need a serious shake-up.
"I'd love to do kids' clothing and strangely, maternity wear. When I was pregnant with Damian it was so difficult to find things that worked. When I go to India, I see all those pregnant women looking fabulous in chic flowing fabrics," she says.
Most likely her great desire to create clothes for mothers-to-be is closely tied to her own desire to give birth to her and Nayar’s baby in the nearest future. She added: "Arun would love a baby and I'd love another one too."
