The event is promised to be really spectacular as the organizers are doing their best to finish all the last minute preparations and technical arrangements. 81 contestants will be doing the catwalk in costumes of their nations and the judges will have to choose first 10 semifinalists and then finalists and a winner, who also will be announced during the live telecast on May 30.
The winner and runner-ups will receive crystal trophies by Preciosa and cash awards. So far, the contestants from Canada, Trinidad & Tobago, Mexico, Colombia, Panama and the Dominican Republic have the highest odds of winning as these countries are famous for their beautiful national costumes.
The National Costume competition will be hosted by Soap Opera star Nuttawut Sakidjai and Miss Thailand Universe 2004, Morakot Kittisara.
