Cindy Fabre, who was named after Cinderella by her parents, was born in Guadeloupe and has lived with her mother in the community of Falaise for 4 years.

Her natural charm and sparkling personality brought her awards in a number of contests: first she became Miss Calvados, then Miss Normandie and then she was chosen Miss France 2005 on December 4.

The new Miss France, who loves to dance and is studying marketing in Caen, is 19 years old and 1,78 m tall. Now she is preparing to present France at the Miss Universe contest this May so it looks like her fairy tale will go on.
