The biggest names in the world of fashion will take to the stage along with renowned musical performers in a celebration of Montreal, the City of Design.
From June 6 to 10, 2007, the celebration of design will be in full swing on Montreal’s prestigious McGill College Avenue, which will be welcoming the fashion industry’s leading designers and high-profile labels to the 7th edition of the Montreal Fashion & Design Festival.
An astounding program has just been announced.
The 2007 edition holds more than its share of surprises, including performances by a number of popular artists and musicians who will be setting the tempo for a concept showcasing design in its many forms. This event offers the general public a singular encounter with the glamorous world of fashion and design.
The 500,000 visitors who converge on the Festival every year can expect a highly emotional experience on both a visual and auditory plane! This year, in addition to runway presentations of fashion’s top labels, the event’s creators have come up with special events devised specifically for the Festival: Montreal Griffe, I Love Kyoto, Highlight on Montreal Fashion Week, Carte Blanche, Bikini Village Swimsuit Special, the 50 years of Joseph Ribkoff, and the Lingerie Special with Moments Intimes.
All told, audiences will be treated to close to 40 fashion shows, including 8 major events, showcasing the collections of more than 100 labels and renowned designers.
