The novice at fashion industry, J.Lo made a costly blunder by using too much fur in her wardrobe and her new fashion line Sweetface, causing rage of the animal rights group. PETA is planning to appear outside Virgin Records in Times Square in Manhattan, where the Latina singer is doing to sign the copies of her new album Rebirth for her fans.
The activists will be showing to all passers-by video footage of animals being skinned alive in China, the world’s biggest fur exporter with no animal protection laws, alongside with the images of Mrs Lopez from her last video where she is dressed in fur.
"There is nothing remotely 'sweet' about the torture deaths of animals killed for fur,” MSNBC quoted PETA vice president Dan Mathews as saying.
"Jennifer Lopez may be able to get the images of bloody, skinned foxes still alive and breathing out of her head, but we doubt all her fans will."
