Today Paris said that she was only on her way to get a burger at US fast food chain In-N-Out and she may have been driving only a little fast in her Mercedes McLaren.

Today Paris explained the incident saying that she was only on her way to get a burger at US fast food chain In-N-Out and she may have been driving only a little fast in her Mercedes McLaren SLR.

Those statements were made in Ryan Seacrest's Los Angeles radio show KIIS-FM. The singer said that she may have been driving a little fast , but it was only because she wanted a burger, .

Denying allegations of driving under influence of alcohol, Paris was assuring that she had been to a charity fundraising party after a long day of recording music videos and only had one margarita.

Some people have some doubts about the statements after a source at the Head to Hollywood event at the Dragonfly nightclub, where Paris was seen before her arrest, reported that she was also stopped by traffic police on Wednesday evening a moving violation on her way to the fundraising event.

Reportedly this drunk driving bust hadn't changed her plans, as young Hilton princess was expected to host a party on Thursday night for the release of a straight-to-DVD film Bottoms Up featuring Paris Hilton and Jason Mewes.

The event, co-hosted by Mewes, is held at the Cabana Club in Hollywood.
