Czech supermodel Petra Nemcova, who survived in the devastating Indian Ocean tsunami that walloped Asia on December 26, allowed an US Weekly photographer into her Thailand hospital room Sunday, reports USA Today.
The model was delivered to the hospital with a broken pelvis and internal injuries after clinging to a palm tree for eight hours. All the proceeds from the sale of Nemcovas images will be donated to Save the Children, on her behalf. The photos will appear in the Friday issue of US Weekly.
25-year-old Nemcova had been vacationing in the resort of Phuket with her fashion photographer boyfriend, Simon Atlee, who remains missing since the wave hit the couples beachfront bungalow. Nemcova is expected to return home to the Czech Republic later this week.
