The names of 15 winners at the Presentation Show, semifinal of Miss Universe 2005, are promised to be revealed on Monday, during the live telecast of the pageant.

The show, during which 80 beauties from all over the world competed for the right to participate in the final contest on May 30, took place at the Impact Arena Exhibition Centre on May 26 and was hosted by Jennifer Hawkins and Nutthawut Sakitjai. The event was divided into two parts: the swimsuit competition and evening gown.

So far, different sources give contradictory information about who has the highest odds to hear their names in the list of semifinalists on Monday. Contestants from Canada, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Venezuela, Peru, USA, South Africa, Indonesia, Italy, Chili, and Croatia were named among the possible candidates to compete for the crown.
