Russian Fashion Week is sheduled to start in Moscow on April 1. The event will take place in the Forum Hall and the RFW pavilion on Vasilyevsky Spusk and will last nine days. The fall/winter 2005/06 Russian Fashion Week comprises 72 collections, presented by Russian designers as well as designers from CIS and other countries/
RFW general producer Alexander Shumsky said that the main show will hit the Forum Hall, situated on Lyotnikovskaya Street near Paveletskaya metro station, and RFW Pavilion that is being constructed nearby. One of the Week's shows is scheduled to take place right in the Kremlin, in the Armoury Chamber.
The annual fashion event was founded in 2002 by Alexander Shumsky, and by now the fashion week has reached the level of New York, London, Milan and Paris shows.
According to it's official site rfw.ru, international fashion stars from USA, France, Spain and United Kingdom will show their collections at Russian Fashion Week. The week will include Spanish Day, British Day and a National Day.
Yulia Dalakyan, Sultanna Frantsuzova, Daria Razumikhina, Larisa Pogoretskaya, FRESH ART, Max Chernitsov, Lidia Soselia, Avtandil (Georgia), Arsenicum by ENTON, Lena Makashova, A&V (Lithuania), Masha Sharoeva, Olga Komissarova, Frol Romanoff, Sudaryanto, Olga Samoschenko (Belarus), Yulia Nikolaeva, Elena Suprun, Yegor Zaitsev, Olga Romina, Chistova Endourova, Ira Zima, Alexander Terekhov, INSHADE and many others will present their collections in the new season.
The General sponsor of the event is Pantene Pro-V, who continues it's mission from the very beginning. The brand is to present it's new project which is different from its traditional shows. RFW official sponsor Motorola will present its third fashion project. Yulia Dalakyan and the Fresh Art trio will show their Motobijoux collections of mobile phones and accessories, which will be later offered for sale in Moscow boutiques.
