Hollywood diva Sharon Stone has teamed up with socialite-songwriter Denise Rich to co-write a song to benefit victims of the recent disastrous tsunami in Asia.
The single, “Come Together Now”, is to be sung by various artists, including Aretha Franklin, Lindsay Lohan, Natalie Cole, Mya, JoJo, Brian McKnight, Kelly Price and Paulina Rubio, in the style of the 1985 song "We Are the World," which raised funds for Africa, reports ABC News. The song is written in collaboration with the producing/songwriting duo Damon Sharpe and Mark Feist, who have written hits for Jennifer Lopez and Destiny's Child.
46-year-old Stone, who pledged a $10,000 contribution to fight malaria and urged others to do likewise at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland two weeks ago, plans to establish a foundation for tsunami victims along with Rich.
Prior to becoming a remarkable Golden Globe-winning actress, stunning Sharon had an experience of winning Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest, becoming a successful Ford model, and posing nude for Playboy at the age of 32.
