To Feel Good – Sleep Tight

Foundations and concealers can hide dark circles under the eyes, lipsticks – add freshness to your look, expensive creams – reduce wrinkles, but all your efforts are worth nothing if you do not get enough sleep.

In the era of electricity, daylight lamps, 24/7 shops and night clubs, people mistake night for day. Our bodies need rest, but we keep our brain awake.

All these thoughts about school, work, career, relationships and break-ups, future motherhood, world peace , and tiny spot on your face, keep you awake and take the healthy sleep away. And even if do at last make yourself fall asleep, in the morning (or whenever we wake up) we feel as if we were working hard and not getting any rest.

Why do models party so rarely? Why do all of them keep claiming: get enough sleep! They know how important rest is: not only for your mental condition, but for your beauty as well.

Here are some tips what you have to do before going to sleep to look great after you wake up.

First of all, try to keep regular hours – our body is the clock mechanism; make it work like a Switzerland clock! If you feel that cannot fall asleep, do not make yourself – read your favorite book, write a letter to a friend, watch movie (but not “Psycho” or “The Ring”). Make sure it’s not too hot or cold in your bedroom.

If you are one of those people who cannot go to bed without having snack before that, then give your preferences to tablespoon of honey and a glass of warm milk.

Do not go for a run before bedtime, unless you’re going to spend the whole night “partying wild”. Do not go to sleep immediately after supper and try to avoid coffee or strong tea.

And the last rule – do not force yourself to sleep! It’s a sure way to keep awake.
