Proclaimed top divas Katie Holmes and Carrie Underwood grace the cover of the new Us Weekly (AP). Katie Holmes as a top-Celebrity-Makeover-and-Model: “When she was with Tom Cruise, she looked like a kid. Now she’s an elegant woman.”

Katies Holmes was admired as the “Most Improved” by US Weekly magazine, when Carrie Underwood was selected as the one having the “Sexiest New Style.”

Having turned from the  blue jean wearing “Idol” into an actual out-of-runway top fashion model, Carrie Underwood is tekking how proud she is of her newfound style: “My fashion vocabulary has expanded!” In earning her “Sexiest” moniker, Carrie also went from an “Idol” size 6 to a current size 2.

As far as the magazine’s “Weight Winners” are concerned, here Nicole Richie, Katherine Heigl, Kelly Osbourne and Kate Bosworth scooped the top position for “having their best bods ever.” As Heigl and Osbourne were praised by the magazine for losing weight, Bosworth and Richie got top marks for putting on quite a number of kilos.
