R&B singer Usher has added one more honor to his eight Grammy nominations. According to the Recording Industry Association of America, his Confessions was named the most-shipped U.S. album of 2004 with 8 million units shipped to retailers.
The smash single Yeah! featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris, which spent 12 weeks atop the Hot 100 singles chart, also took honors in the RIAAs digital-awards program, earning a digital platinum certification for more than 200,000 downloads. "Burn" and "My Boo" with Alicia Keys were awarded digital gold for more than 100,000 downloads.
The new big star Usher will debut his 20-minute movie, Rhythm City Volume 1: Caught Up, at New Yorks New Years Eve: Live from Times Square with Ryan Seacrest, featuring four songs Seduction, Caught Up, Red Light, and Take Your Hand, from Billboards No. 1 Album of the Year, Confessions.
