GAP INC. has announced that the Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Compliance Officer position will be vacant since May 13th. Anne Gust will be leaving GAP on this date as she and the Company have previously agreed.
The President of Gap Inc. and CEO <strong>Paul Pressler</strong> praised Anne’s work in the company, to which she dedicated the past 14 years of her life. "We thank Anne for her tremendous work over the past 14 years and wish her well in her new adventures," - he said.
"While I'll miss the rewarding experience I've had working for Gap Inc., I felt that the time was right for me to move on to the next phase of my life," said Gust.
The position will not stay vacant for a long time. Most likely it will be taken by Lauri Shanahan, 42, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and a 13-year veteran of the company.
And the Chief Administrative responsibilities will be divided between senior leaders of Gap such as Byron Politt - Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
