Renowned fashion photographers Mario Testino and late Herb Ritts were awarded the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Awards in Beverly Hills on Sunday, March 20.
Selected by representatives from the media, entertainment and fashion industries for their contribution to the world of fashion and entertainment, Testino and Ritts, who died in 2002, were honored with a permanent plaque, featuring their quote and signature, which will be placed along the Walk of Style on Rodeo Drive.
The awards ceremony, which was first held in 2003 and has Giorgio Armani and Tom Ford among its past honorees, was hosted by Oscar winner Anjelica Huston. Among presenters were Cameron Diaz, Patrick Swayze and Vogue editor Anna Wintour . Other guests included City of Beverly Hills officials and members from the fashion, art and entertainment industries.
An outdoor photo exhibition of selected work from both photographers, featuring portraits of Madonna, Sophia Loren, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and other world-known celebrities, will be displayed on Rodeo Drive and in the Beverly Hills Golden Triangle through May 1.
