On Saturday, February 5th, thieves broke into West London home of Natasha Bedingfields stylist and stole the singer’s outfits prepared for this week’s Brit Awards. The 23 year-old is nominated in three categories and is set to perform a duet with her famous brother Daniel Bedingfield. But all her wardrobe, prepared by such top designers as Alexander McQueen, Matthew Williamson and Julien McDonald for every stage appearance is now gone. The singer is in despair.
Contactmusic.com quoted a friend saying: "This is one of the worst things that could have happened. This is the biggest night of her musical life and Natasha had an exact idea of what she wanted to wear when she arrived and when she was performing on stage.
"Now that's all up in the air because it's too late to get replacements and some of the vintage pieces are irreplaceable. Natasha is upset, but she's trying to remain optimistic."
Meanwhile, Bedingfield’s brother Daniel has recently miraculously survived a second car crash. The singer was traveling from London to Manchester in a convoy of cars to practice their duet with sister before the Wednesday show, when a passing truck hit his car, according to Contactmusic.com.
"Dan was in the passenger seat when the driver opened the door. But he hadn't checked his mirrors and a juggernaut smashed into them. The door was ripped off and the car really badly mangled," said the man from the following car.
Only a year ago (January 1)25-year-old Daniel hardly survived in another car crash in New Zealand, but fortunately, he wasn’t hurt this time.
