Jennifer Lopez ex Ben Affleck is making a new film. But the handsome young man wont appear on the big screen, Affleck will try his hand at directing this time.
Affleck, who won an Oscar for his role in “Good Will Hunting” will pen the script for a movie adaptation of a novel “Gone, Baby, Gone,” originally written by the “Mystic River” author Dennis Lehane.
The book is telling the story of two Boston detectives, who are to find a kidnapped 4-year-old girl.
He's been planning to do it for two years now,'' Lehane told the Track. ``And the project just moved from Paramount to Disney. But until the cameras roll, I am blissfully ignorant of all that stuff.''
The film was set to be backed by Paramount, but then the studio was changed to it's rival Disney company Touchstone.
Ben Affleck will work alongside such producers as Alan Ladd, Dan Rissner and Sean Bailey. The shooting is scheduled to begin in Affleck's hometown Boston this fall.
