On Saturday, 41-year-old former supermodel Kathy Ireland shared her beliefs and strategies for happy, balanced and independent living at the Great Falls Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts. Ireland, who has gone from embellishing covers of Sports Illustrated in swimsuits to being a millionaire CEO, who suffered a disfiguring accident and miscarriage, presented her new book called “Powerful Inspirations: Eight Lessons That Will Change Your Life.” The talk by Kathy Ireland was the headliner at the 2-day What Women Want Expo which attracted over 4,000 people.

In her speech, as well as the book, Ireland encourages women to seek the things they are passionate about, develop their own sense of identity and strive for financial independence.

“Success comes from finding and living your passion, ” said Ireland, as reports Great Falls Tribune.

The ex-model also shared that she used most of her book ideas from scripture and teachings of her “best friend and savior” Jesus Christ, as she referred to him.
