Nicky Hilton, who is living in the shadow of her famous older sister Paris, decided to show the world that she’s also worth some public attention. The famous Hilton heiress proved that besides partying and shopping she can create. The brunette socialite is already promoting her clothing line called Chick By Nicky Hilton.

The 21-year-old Nicky is already retailing her own range of handbags in over 100 stores in Japan. Hilton also tried to study fashion at Fashion Institute of Technology (but  did not graduate). She told Pioneer Press reporter : 

“A lot of celebrities don't really care. I went to school for this. I always wanted to be a designer. I started with handbags when I was 17.”

The line is called “Chick” because it was Hilton’s childhood nickname and she says she looked like “Tweety Bird” with her blue eyes and blond hair. Now the heiress dyes her hair in dark brown to look  different from her sister, Paris Hilton.

"I wanted to have high fashion without the high prices. I wanted (the clothes) to be accessible," Hilton told  bharattextile.com . The prices vary from $27 to $119, and target ages 12 to 40.

The line consists mainly of Capri jeans, mini skirts, chiffon hoodies and ice-cream-cone screen-printed sweat suits and tank tops adorned with rhinestones, air brushing and metallic accents. Angels, gothic crosses, fleur-de-lis symbols and an Old English "H" also pepper the clothes.

Nicky Hilton is not going to stop on this. "I'm only 21, so I have a lot of time," she says. Her future plans include creating dresses, shoes, accessories and cosmetics.
