Model Mogul John Casablancas claims that Gisele Bundchen is a “monster of selfishness”, says British Vogue. The model agency boss, who created Elite Models 34 years ago, is angry with the supermodel he once discovered.

Casablancas explains his attitude to Bundchen in an interview for the Brazilian paper O Globo:

"When I criticise Saint Gisele it is only to put things in the right perspective”, Casablancas, famous for having labelled Heidi Klum as "the German sausage" says.

"She behaved badly with people who did everything for her.

"There are those people who are humble and keep that in mind, and others, who pretend they were born superstars."

John Casablancas returned to model industry after having retired five years ago to live in Brazil with his wife and three children. He came back because Eddie Trump, who bought Elite last year, wanted his advice on lawsuits filed by ex-models who claimed they were underpaid.
